Norcross, based in Oak Brook, IL, will form a new line of business called Honeywell Safety Products within Honeywell Life Safety, part of Automation and Control Solutions (ACS).

Vienna, Austria, March 07, 2008 – Honeywell ( NYSE: HON ) today announced it has completed the acquisition of AV Digital Audio-Videotechnik GmbH, a privately held company specializing in highly complex and sophisticated public address and notification sound systems. AV Digital, based in Vienna, Austria, develops and manufactures a broad range of public address systems to assist in the safe evacuation of facilities during emergencies. The agreement has received the required regulatory approvals.
