Honeywell Acquires AV Digital and Its Innovative Public Address Voice Alarm Portfolio
Builds Advanced Position in Growing Voice Alarm System Industry, Expands Pervasive Fire Alarm Technology Expertise
Vienna , Austria , March 07, 2008 – Honeywell ( NYSE: HON ) today announced it has completed the acquisition of AV Digital Audio-Videotechnik GmbH , a privately held company specializing in highly complex and sophisticated public address and notification sound systems. AV Digital, based in Vienna , Austria , develops and manufactures a broad range of public address systems to assist in the safe evacuation of facilities during emergencies. The agreement has received the required regulatory approvals.
